1/18/2024 0 Comments Ona anime show![]() The biggest example here and what is a mess is the +Ultra anime that air on Fuji TV and Netflix. Satsuriku no Tenshi is another good example.īut labeling TV anime has ONA just because they were streamed in advance (and not doing that for every entry) is confusing and gives the impression that it was only streamed and didn't aired on TV. This also gives info on to how it was broadcasted. But the "second season", that in reality is the same production and had no breaks airing from season to season, was only streamed so its understandable that they had to make a new ONA entry for it. What I can agree with is how they did Nanbaka, also a Comico anime, The "first season" aired on TV and was streamed so it was TV. ReLife was streamed in advance in Comico's application, the same aaplication as Momokuri, but is TV. ![]() That's because RikeKoi and Jashin-chan were streamed on Amazon Prime Japan, unlike the others shows you mentioned. Unless it is streaming only or is streamed before having its TV run announced, like Momokuri, it should always be considered a TV anime.įirst and the most obvious one because it aired on TV and because they are even considered TV anime when they were announced and on their site. ReLIFE was streamed fully a few days before its TV airing began and is considered a TV anime in MAL. Is it because every episode was made available before it ended its TV run? Then we have inconsistencies in the database. BNA for example already has 6 episodes available to watch before airing. Having episodes available before they air (or in this case at the time of episode 1 airing) should not be a reason to consider something an ONA anime, if that was the case this season's Appare-Ranman! and BNA should be ONAs by that logic. The same thing happened with RikeKoi the previous season but it was only changed to ONA a week before ending airing. Even watching the anime characters are saying things like "this week's episode", "the past week's episode". ![]() It is still airing on TV, episode 1 aired as planned and the following episodes will air weekly as well. ![]() Ok, im going to ask as to why was this anime suddently changed and is now considered an ONA instead of a TV anime. ![]()
